little doe is love

Ever since I saw Chase Cohl on The Selby I have become obsessed with her line of headbands Little Doe.

Each headband is custom made and they sell for about $250-$400…eek. Erin Wasson wore one of these headbands to a Chanel party back in 2008 and I think it really set off the trend of boho/hippie feathered headbands.

This line of headbands is so young and feminine, I think anyone would feel like a beautiful flower girl wearing them. Their lookbooks are to die for, particularly the latest one with polaroids of sun kisseds girl in the wilderness. Absolutely stunning.

While achieving the polished to perfection quality of these headbands will be extremely difficult, I do think that this could be a great D.I.Y. project. So many stores sell exotic feathers now that with a steady hand and the right amount of patience you could be walking around with your own Little Doe knockoff. ;) Or, start saving so that you can get Chase to make one just for you!!!

These headbands totally fit the Runway Hippie ideal because while these look beautiful on these beauties frolicking through the fields, I can also see them strutting down a runway. Runway Hippie indeed.
