Leigh Viner

Etsy is one of my favorite sites…particularly when I’m curling up into bed and decide to spend another hour online shopping. It’s amazing to see how talented and creative so many people are. There’s an endless supply of bits and bobbles on Etsy that are all unique because the majority of them are handmade. I myself have purchased a number of things on this site, from artwork to pottery to intricate headband.

I just discovered Leigh Viner‘s artwork on Etsy and have fallen in love.  According to her Etsy profile, Leigh Viner resides in Denver, Colorado and is almost entirely self-taught. She says that she tries to bring in a sense of emotion in her works, which is indeed emphasized by her quick pen movement and her use of void space. The drawings remind me a lot of Garançe Doré’s fashion drawings. I would be curious to find out if she draws from life, photography or memory.
