Ruby Aldridge & Hollie Witchey by William Eadon
November 20, 2009
Here are some fun photographs of Ruby Aldridge and Hollie Witchey by William Eadon. I wouldn’t say that these photos are a particularly good example of Eadon’s work, but they definitely capture two friends having a good time together out on the town. I think that is one of the best characteristics of Eadon’s photography; every person he shoots, whether a model, friend, child, or stranger, they always look like they are having a great time. Which I must admit is at times a refreshment in comparison to the much more serious photography that we see so frequently today.
He has also photographed Isabelle McNally and Rachel Ballinger. I highly recommend taking a look at those shoots, they are much more Eadon-esque…

God, these are bad.
well, I for 1 like love these.
I like them too. Although a few might make the cutting room floor, there are some very nice shots here. There is an informality and free and easy spirit in the series that is comforting. Feels like hanging out with your friends and doesn’t distance you from the subjects. What don’t you like Davis?
I wouldn’t go so far as to say that these photographs are bad, but I don’t think they’re worthy of an editorial spread. That being said, William Eadon is a phenomenal photographer and I think he captured two friends having fun exceptionally well. Sometimes it’s nice to see models in a truer light than those overly photoshopped editorials that grace our magazines month to month.
