Shoe Candy

August 11, 2010

When it comes to situations where I’m forced to wear a LBD or a relatively basic get-up, I always try to spice up my ensemble with bright, bold accessories. While chunky bangles and layered necklaces certainly play a significant role in adding some texture, I find that nothing really livens up an outfit like a pair of brightly colored heels. Believe it or not, finding a good pair of colorful heels isn’t as easy as one would think…much like an LBD, little black heels are much easier to come by than a pair of turquoise blue stilettos.

With my brother’s fiance’s bachelorette party this weekend, fashion week (*gasp!*) only a few weeks away, and my brother’s wedding at the end of September, I am definitely going to be needing a few pairs of spiffy new colorful heels to brighten up my closet. Here are some that I’m considering:

  1. Manolo Blahnik Deci – $665
  2. Sergio Rossi Pointed Court Shoe – $194
  3. Donna Karan Minx Sandal – $482
  4. Aldo Orpin Heel – $50
  5. Pura Lopez Suede Sandal – $103
  6. Steve Madden Caryssa Heel – $90
  7. Christian Louboutin Lady Bow – $735
  8. Gianmarco Lorenzi Multi-Strap Satin Sandal – $246
  9. Butter Women’s Platform Sandal – $258

I love #4, it’s so simple and chic. And it’s looks like it’s a lot more inexpensive than the others :]
