Field of Dreams

As much as I love statement articles of clothing, I consider myself much more of an accessory girl. I’m most happy wearing a simple outfit that’s accented with bold accessories like an oversized handbag and a colorful scarf. Such was the case this past weekend when my Mom and I took a day trip to Connecticut to check out the house my family rents for the month of July. I put together a pretty minimalist outfit consisting of my favorite skinny black jeans, a white tank top, green vest and leather jacket, but jazzed up the whole look with an extra large scarf/poncho/blanket that is the perfect spring accessory for those cool breezes and chilly nights. Plus it can double as a picnic blanket! Hoody hoo!
