Neutral Hues + Squirrel Blues
Thanks to my transparent skin, pale hues tend to either wash me out or make me look like a walking corpse; so it’s a general rule for me never to wear pastels and other light tones. However, as goes with any rule, there’s always an exception, which is exactly where this shirt comes in. I bought it about two years ago at a BCBG sample sale and while it doesn’t get a lot of wear in my wardrobe, it certainly comes in handy when I need a neutral tone. It also apparently comes in handy when I want to interact with squirrels with unnecessary attitude in Union Square…see below…

Well hello, little friend!
High five?!…No?
Squirrels…
Ha, this post is so funny. I’m surprised you were so brave to hold your hand out to the little guy. I think they are pretty darn cute but am also scared they will be rabid and try to maul me or something. Probably an irrational fear. Anywho, I love the outfit! I like that the ripped up black jeans keeps the top from looking to sweet.
that squirrel…great post!
