Picnic Parade

We all know how much I love a good picnic (see here and here), so obviously when I found this picnic blanket print skirt, I had to have it. And honestly, the first time I wore it I was really tempted to pair it with this t-shirt I have with a ketchup and mustard bottle on it but thought that might be a bit too literal. Next thing you know someone would start putting plates of burgers and hotdogs on me…haha…No? Not funny?

Shucks.

Well, instead of opting for a food focused outfit, I paired my precious new gingham skirt with a classic blue and white striped shirt that added the perfect touch of juxtaposing texture to my ensemble. And who knows, maybe I’ll wear that ketchup & mustard t-shirt next time around…we’ll all just have to wait and see…
