A flowy white pleated skirt has been on my shopping list for quite awhile, so I was thrilled when this SuperTrash number arrived on my doorstep last week. Between its lightweight fabric and modest hemline I have a feeling this skirt is going to be on heavy rotation in my wardrobe.
When I was first putting this outfit together, I had this skirt paired with a blue and white breton stripe shirt and a thinner belt, but the whole thing felt too preppy for my style. While standing around debating my outfit I saw this colorful scarf out of the corner of my eye and immediately knew I wanted to incorporate it into my look. It’s much too hot for a scarf around your neck these days, so instead I wrapped it around my upper body, turning it into a surprisingly comfortable tube-y top top. While this would normally feel scandalous and a bit too bare for my taste, the modest hemline of the skirt was a perfect juxtaposition to my naked shoulders.

Adorably gorgeous!
That top is a scarf?! How the heck did you get it to look so chic? I swear if I tried to do this it would actually look like I wrapped a scarf around myself. Tutorial please!
You’re beautiful

I adore this top. sometimes it looks so trashy when people do strapless tops but this is so bohemian an chic and completely adorable. You have the most amazing style in the planet.
That’s such a cool idea with the scarf! I run a blog for this store (the attic) and we’ve been working on a blog post, how to wear a scarf in different ways. There’s so much you can do with a scarf! I really like your blog, I think it offers a lot of cool fashion tips in a down to earth kind of way.
