The Return of the Friendship Bracelet

I was all about the friendship bracelets in high school and college. My friend and I would sit down and spend hours making bracelets for each other until our wrists were covered in them. I pretty much stopped wearing and making them all together when I started at my first job out of college at Christie’s Auction House, but this summer they’re back on my wrists with vengeance!

My friends and I spend a solid part of our weekends tying string onto whatever we can find to make a variety of bracelets for each other. While we currently only know a few patterns (braids, fishtail braids, and the standard sail knot), I have a feeling it’s about to get a lot more intense in the next few weeks. I’m talkin’ studs, cool knots, and Hello Kitty patterns.

Now I’m off to enjoy my one day off before my new job!
