Inside My Closet

I’ve had a lot of requests about getting a further peek inside my closet, and while there’s still lots to be done (like painting, finding a rug, and figuring out what goes on the one empty wall), I figured I’d share a first look at it.

California Closets came in and designed/built floor-to-ceiling shelves and hanging systems on three out of the four walls in the extra room in my apartment that sits right off my bedroom. As an accessories fanatic, we knew that one of the walls had to be covered in shelves so I could store my ever growing shoe and handbag collection. The rest of the structure is separated by type of clothing - skirts, pants, shirts, jackets - that I try to color coordinate as much as possible.

The one empty wall currently houses my vanity and a full length mirror, but I’m not entirely satisfied with how it looks. I’d love to turn the entire wall into a mirror, but that seems like a lot of work…

Any suggestions?

*A big thank you to Thom from California Closets for building my dream closet!

After seeing your fabulous closet, it is time for me to re-organize mine!

Now I need California Closets! Looks awesome. What if you closed the vanity, put all of your goodies in a decorative tray (so it still feels organized) then hung a big framed mirror above your vanity to fill up more wall space? Just a suggestion… good luck!
