Cropped

July 17, 2012

{ The inspiration }

I’ve kept my hair relatively the same for about five years now. The last “big” change I did was bangs and boy was that a big mistake. Hello, potato head.

I’ve been toying around with the idea of taking the plunge and cutting more than my usual “just like an inch or like half an inch, like don’t cut anything,” haircut. As someone who wants to kill herself when her hair looks like shit, this is a major decision dilemma. Do I dare chop off my long beachy waves for something shorter and edgy?

I posted a photo on my instagram (follow me – @runwayhippie) yesterday and got a variety of responses, so I’d like to ask you trusty readers who know me so well to give me some advice!

Should I do this? See bad photoshop image below…

    I always regret chopping my hair off and always end up wanting it long again.. so I have decided to leave my hair long no matter how hot the weather gets. I vote leave the length!

    I like that length on you, it has an edgier feel and more modern look, but you’ll still be able to put it up. Go for it lady!

    hmm… maybe just cut a little a bit off, that way you can get used to it before chopping off even more.

    Get an asymetrical cut and cut it short. DO IT.

    Go for it! Mira’s hair was also my recent inspiration…. I just took mine from close to your length to Mira’s even shorter bob… I think it makes me feel more stylish and inspired everyday. It is so worth a change! Plus, hair always grows back. :)
