The Slimming Effect

I love a weird beauty trick, especially when it has a slimming effect.

I have a tendency to feel puffy after Fashion Week — all the unhealthy and rushed meals, the lack of sleep, and being surrounded by teeny tiny models is not good for the figure.

That’s where Epsom Salt comes in.

I used to use Epsom Salts after a rough day to relax and “nurture” my body, but it turns out they’re also great for when you need to suck some of that extra salt-induced puff from your body.

Here’s how:

When you’re in the shower, turn off  the water and apply a generous amount of Epsom Salts to your body (ahh naked!). Some of the salt will dissolve, while the rest just sits atop your skin. Leave the salts on for about 5-7 minutes (I know it’s a long time but it’s totally worth it), turn the water back on and rinse! Not only will you have fresh, exfoliated skin, but I swear on Christmas you’ll feel leaner.

    totally true! doing an epsom salt bath can help too, though for some reason i’m always soooooo sleepy after. will definitely try your way asap! thanks.
