Fashion Week Storm Trooper

A big THANK YOU to Modelinia for hiring me to help them out during New York Fashion Week. I honestly had the most incredible time. From watching the shows and going backstage to covering parties and meeting tons of new people, it was an absolute dream come true.

Here’s the first bit of my little Fashion Week in review:

The first show on my Fashion Week agenda was Lela Rose (read my post on it here). After throwing on my turquoise Pendleton x Opening Ceremony skirt, black tights, over-the-knee Stuart Weitzman boots, a white Joie tank and a military-style red Marc by Marc Jacobs jacket, I booked it to the tents and went backstage at the Salon. Right as I walked in I saw Lela Rose. Even as she was being hounded by the press, she seemed more than excited to be there and had a huge smile on her face.

I think I got a little over-eager when I thought that I could continue doing frequent write-ups on fashion shows here. Between running around to different shows and parties, to rushing home to write articles for Modelinia, I just haven’t had the time to sit down and post here! I have a little break in my day before heading off to the Jeremy Scott show, so I picked out some of my favorite looks from some of the shows this week.

I have a bunch of stories and photos from backstage that I will post later!!

Hey Guys! I’m so sorry that I haven’t posted recently. Things have been a bit crazy this fashion week, and I just haven’t had the time to sit down and blog!! New York Fashion Week has officially started and I am more than excited!!! Screw the sludge and snow, I’m ready!

For this season’s Fashion Week, I will be doing a number of articles for Modelinia, but I promise to also continue to update here as well!

Modelinia focuses primarily on models, so as I refresh my memory of faces and names, I thought I would post photos of some of the models I’m most excited to see walk the runway this year.
