If there’s one color that always pops out at me while shopping or going through my closet, it’s the earthy hue of an olive-y green. No matter the season, no matter the trend, garments and accessories made up of olive greens catch my eye like a moth to a flame. Even as I obsess over mustard-yellow blazers or the rich camel coats that dominated the runways this season, I just can’t seem to get my hands on enough pieces made up of robust greens.  Much of my love for this color comes from that it can be made feminine with a few staple accessories or a bold lip color (see above), but can also be kept rustic and masculine with a sturdy pair of boots or trousers. So, in anticipation for tomorrow’s holiday gift post (see last week’s here), expect to see a few olive colored clothes and accessories that I deem a vital addition to anyone’s closet.
