Sena Time

I have a love/hate relationship with maxi skirts — not to be mistaken with maxi dresses for which I am always a fan. Being a girl with a toosh, I’ve always been a little self-conscious that maxi skirts only emphasize the area that I usually try to cover up. And then this salmony Sena skirt landed in my fingertips.
Due to my fear of the maxi skirt posterior enhancement, I was initially a bit apprehensive about wearing the silky number. But then I put it on. Rear fear went out the window. Flattering silhouette came billowing forth. A new favorite has entered my wardrobe and it’s not in the shape of skinny jeans, ankle boots, or anything black. Sound the alarms!
And if that’s not interesting enough for you, then perk those ears forward because Sena is offering one of you readers a skirt for your very own sidewalk trotting! Oh, but it gets better. If pink isn’t your color then perhaps you’d like to choose from the nine other colors it comes in!? You lucky duckies! Here’s what you gotta do to enter to winny binny.
- Like Sena on Facebook.

The Pink Room

I’m really trying to be more “mature” as I decorate my new apartment. What does this mean? Well, for one all that cutesy wootsy girly stuff is going to my Mom’s house out the window, and as I said before, I’m trying a more clean and simple approach starting with the color of the walls. I just painted my bedroom a greyish blue (photos coming soon) and am now contemplating what colors to paint the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. But as I try my darndest to stick to neutral colors, I can’t help but want a pink room. Many of you may think this is totally bonkers for me seeing as how I generally reject pink as a color, but truth be told I had a pepto bismol colored room for the better part of my childhood and the bedroom in my last apartment was pink as well.
I recognize that a pink room is not a celebrated color choice for a boyfriend, which is why I ruled it out for the bedroom; but what about a hot pink bathroom? A salmon pink living room? Pink kitchen cabinets like the photo above? No? I’m putting my foot down somewhere – mark my words there will be something pink in my apartment – and until I make the painted commitment, here’s some inspiration to help the flamingo color sneak its way into my new home.
